Tablets as a form of dietary supplement are produced by pressing a mixture of the active ingredients together with auxiliary substances.

They are usually in the form of discs, flat or convex on either side, differing in diameter, thickness and weight.

Tablets may have a different shape, have marks or furrows imprinted on them to enable splitting.

Coated tablets are covered with a protective substance that disguises difficult tastes and facilitates swallowing.

The production of tablets consists in pressing the previously mixed and prepared powdery substances in tablet press machines.

The most popular tablets are 8 or 12 mm in diameter and have both sides convex. The weights are respectively 250 and 500 mg (approximately, depending on the physical qualities of the substances used).

Available sizes:

  • 13 mm (flat on both sides),
